The London vintage scene is thriving and more and more vintage markets and stores are beginning to open with new budding young entrepreneurs. Every retro store has their niche so here are some of the best to look for in and around the capital.
Leech Vintage
Of course, we have to start with ourselves. Leech Vintage has a vintage store in south-east London in Bromley, just quarter of an hour from London Victoria, as well as a market stall at Greenwich market, right by Greenwich Park and the Cutty Sark. We specialise in 80s-00s sportswear as well as graphic t shirts and sweatshirts. Theres something for everyone with us
Hartex
Hartex is a small store located on Southbank. Heavily specialising in vintage football shirts and merchandise, but also has a wide selection of vintage graphic tees. The beauty of a small store allows you the chance to have a chat with the owner, who will gladly chat your ear off about anything, including the game last night.
Rokit Vintage
Probably, the most well known shop outside of Shoreditch, Rokit Vintage has a huge variety and collection of all sides of vintage, both mens and women's wear. From army jackets, to north face fleeces, to graphic t shirts, to vintage headscarves. Only downside, is the sheer quantity means it's slightly less curated than other options
Beyond Retro
Beyond Retro are possibly the closest the vintage industry has to a chain-store. they operate three different stores throughout London, in Westfield, Soho (and of course, Shoreditch) as well as many others throughout the country. Again, quantity abound in their stores where the variety leaves anyone able to find something inside.
